It’s getting better, the legs are starting to come back. I didn’t realise how unfit and slow i have become. Looking back through my cycling journal that i started on the 24th July 2006. My first recorded average speed was 21.5 kph for a distance of 16.1 km’s. One year later on the 18th July 2007, the distance was 25.233 km with an average speed of 26 kph.
2 Years later in 2008 i dont have recorded, since i stopped recording and riding in April 2008. I now see where the fitness has gone. I haven’t really spent much consecutive time on the bike. So in 3 Years, i’ve only really ridden 1 and a half years. On the 8th of April 2008 a ride of 34 kilometres i averaged 29.26 kph out to Bowna, my usual training route. Compare that to todays ride out to Bowna.

So my recorded total in my cycling journal since the 24th July 2006 is 7116.777 kms.
