Took the 23c tyres off and put on the 32c tyres onto the road bike and went and hit the dirt. The idea was to head up to Three Blind Mice, a known Mountain Biking area in the Okanagan Valley that has some great Single Track but it isn't a place for a Cyclo-cross Bike. I ended up climbing some of the hill and found myself onto some singletrack which is a little scary on skinny tyres. This wasn't what i had in mind for Cyclo-cross training so decided not to waste the sunny day and took off up the KVR trail. This is the Kettle Valley Rail Trail that use to be a railway line that went through the Valley. It has an average of 2.2% grade which goes for a fair few kilometers (almost 30 kms) and as a climbing route is great for training.
In all, the ride was well over 4 hours but i only had 3 and a half hours of riding time due to a lot of stopping to admire the view which for the most part was a good one looking over Lake Okanagan. I think if i could get a couple more chances of doing this before summer is over, my fitness and climbing will be well on the way to improvement.

Endomondo Cycling Workout: was out cycling 46.78 km in 3h:25m:29s using Endomondo.
